You can now control how AI assistance is configured across your interviews, centrally, consistently, and with the right level of flexibility for your team.
With the new AI Assistance Interview Settings, account admins and interview creators can define whether AI tools (the AI Assistant and AI Copilot) are available during interviews, set those defaults at the team level, and optionally lock them so individual interviewers can't make changes mid-session.
What's New
- Team-level defaults A new Interview Settings page in the Interviews dashboard lets you set the default AI assistance state, on or off, for all interviews across your team. Any new interview created for that team will inherit these settings automatically.
- Lock mechanism You can lock the AI assistance setting at the team level to prevent it from being overridden on templates or toggled during live interviews. When locked, interviewers will see the configured state but cannot change it. When unlocked, interviewers retain the flexibility to adjust AI assistance during the session.
- Template-level overrides Interview templates now include an AI Assistance section. When building or editing a template, you can override the team default for that specific template, which is useful when different roles or evaluation types require different configurations.
It's now available on Public Preview, available on all accounts.
