We know that, sometimes, creating such a test might be a struggle if you're pressed for time and cannot explore the full range of our task library. We’re changing this by releasing a collection of ready-made CodeCheck templates designed for 30 common tech roles. Now, you can create well-designed and role-specific tests quickly, adjusted for your specific needs.
How can I start using it?
All you need is a job description. From there, select the most appropriate template, which automatically includes a balanced selection of tasks to qualify candidates for the core skills required to be successful in the role.
After creating the test out of the template, you can edit it to tailor it to your needs (including adding your own exclusive content). Once everything's ready, you can take it for a test drive or share it with the rest of your team to review.

What practices Codility implemented to keep the templates in line with job assessment science?
Templates are designed with the skills and knowledge areas required for specific jobs in mind. Tying tasks to jobs based on the skill expectations for those jobs helps add ‘content validity’ to the tests. This intentional job skill to task/test mapping makes the tests more job-relevant, especially for jobs that require more language-agnostic entry-level skills.
