The Oracle Recruiting integration with Codility allows you to seamlessly send Codility Screen assessments directly from Oracle Recruiting and automatically receive candidate results back in Oracle.
Integrating Codility with Oracle Recruiting allows you to:
- Select from Codility Screen assessment packages directly in Oracle Recruiting.
- Send a Codility assessment to a candidate as part of your Oracle Recruiting workflow.
- Automatically receive the candidate's assessment results after they complete the test.

Setting up the Oracle Recruiting integration
To enable the integration, you will need to be an Admin user in Codility and have the Security Administrator role in Oracle Recruiting.
Only one administrator needs to configure the integration. Once configured, it can be used by recruiters and other authorised users in your Oracle Recruiting account.
To enable the integration:
- Log in to Codility.
- Navigate to Apps & Integrations > Integrations.
- Find Oracle Recruiting and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to a secure connection flow.
- Follow the instructions displayed in the connection flow and provide the requested Oracle Recruiting details and credentials.
During the connection process, you will be guided through the required Oracle configuration, including:
- creating a new job role
- creating an integration API user
- importing the Codility assessment partner configuration into Oracle Recruiting.
All required instructions and configuration details are provided directly in the connection flow.
Once you have completed all the steps, Codility will verify the Oracle Recruiting connection and syncronise your Codility assessment packages with your Oracle Recruiting account.
Congratulations! You have successfully integrated Codility Screen with Oracle Recruiting.
Using Codility – Oracle Recruiting integration
Add a Codility assessment to a job requisition
Once the integration is connected and your Codility assessment packages have been synchronized with Oracle Recruiting, you can add a Codility assessment to a job requisition.
- Log in to Oracle Recruiting.
- Open the job requisition where you want to use a Codility assessment.
- Go to Screening Services and open the Assessments section.
- Select Codility as the assessment partner.
- Select the Codility assessment package you want to use.
- Choose when the assessment should be triggered. You can configure it:
- as part of the internal or external job application flow, or
- at a specific phase and state in the Candidate Selection Process.
- Save your changes.
If the assessment is configured for a Candidate Selection Process phase and state, Oracle Recruiting requests the assessment when the candidate reaches that point in the recruiting process.
If the assessment is configured as part of the application flow, it is triggered as part of the candidate's application process.
How to send a Codility assessment from Oracle Recruiting
Invite a candidate to a Codility assessment
You can manually send a Codility assessment to an individual candidate directly from their job application.
- Open the relevant job requisition in Oracle Recruiting.
- Open Job Applications.
- Select the candidate you want to invite.
- Open the Screening tab.
- In the Actions menu, select Initiate Request.
- Select the Codility assessment package you want to send.
- Click OK.
Oracle Recruiting sends the assessment request to Codility. Codility then creates the assessment invitation and sends it to the candidate using the email template configured in Codility.
The assessment status is displayed in the Screening section of the candidate's job application.
Note: You can manually initiate an assessment even if the candidate hasn't yet reached the phase and state configured as the automatic assessment trigger.
Invite multiple candidates to a Codility assessment
If a Codility assessment is configured to be triggered at a specific phase and state in the Candidate Selection Process, you can send the assessment to multiple candidates by moving their job applications to that phase and state.
- Open the relevant job requisition in Oracle Recruiting.
- Open Job Applications.
- Select the candidates you want to invite.
- From the Actions menu, select Move.
- Select the phase and state where the Codility assessment is configured to be triggered.
- Confirm the move.
When the selected applications reach the configured phase and state, Oracle Recruiting creates the assessment requests for the candidates.
The Send Candidate Screening Requests to Partners scheduled process then sends the requests to Codility. Oracle recommends running this process every 10 minutes.
Codility creates an assessment invitation for each candidate and sends it using the email template configured in Codility.
You can track each candidate's assessment status from the Screening section of their job application.
Note: Oracle Recruiting doesn't provide a bulk version of the manual Screening → Initiate Request action. For multiple candidates, use the Candidate Selection Process trigger and move the selected applications to the configured phase and state.
Once the candidate completes the assessment, Codility automatically sends the results back to Oracle Recruiting.
The candidate's application will then display the completed assessment and its results. You can also follow the link to Codility to view the full assessment report and more detailed information about the candidate's performance.
Reconnecting Oracle Recruiting
If Codility can no longer access Oracle Recruiting because the connection credentials were changed, expired, revoked, or are otherwise no longer valid:
- Go to Apps & Integrations > Integrations in Codility.
- Find Oracle Recruiting.
- Open the integration.
- Click Reconnect.
- Complete the Oracle connection flow.
After the connection succeeds, Codility will resume communication with Oracle Recruiting.
You normally do not need to recreate your Codility assessment packages or Oracle recruiting configuration when reauthorising the same integration.
Disconnecting Oracle Recruiting
To disconnect the integration:
- Go to Apps & Integrations > Integrations in Codility.
- Find Oracle Recruiting.
- Open the integration.
- Click Disconnect.
- Confirm the action.
After the integration is disconnected, Codility will no longer process new Oracle Recruiting assessment requests through that connection.
If you decide to reconnect the integration later, verify the assessment workflow before using it with candidates.
