The new PDF report is a full rebuild of the downloadable candidate report. It now renders from the shared report data, so the PDF mirrors what reviewers see online, including VS Code task solutions and also VSCode interview environments that were missing before.
- The downloaded report now matches the online one, including VS Code solutions, integrity, and AI transcripts.
- VS Code task details and solutions, code health, and skills evaluations are all in the PDF now.
- Integrity risk, the integrity widget, and full proctoring summaries are part of the report.
Until now the downloaded PDF didn’t include a lot of the features that are now in the candidate report. This rebuild closes those gaps and now has a simplified, easy-to-read format with redesigned header and overview, a table of contents, integrity risk and proctoring insight, code health in task details, AI Assistant and Copilot transcripts, follow-up questions, skills evaluations, downloadable multi-file solutions, and Excalidraw and Miro whiteboard content. Sections render based on data availability.
This makes the offline and shared report a faithful, complete record of the assessment rather than a basic export.
How It Works
- Open the assessment report and download the PDF as usual.
- When the shared report is enabled, the PDF renders in the new format automatically, with no separate action needed.

FAQ
❓ Why didn't VS Code solutions show in the old PDF?
- Sandbox VS Code tasks were not rendered at all, and VS Code Native tasks showed only description and score. The new report includes the task details and solutions.
❓ How do I get the new report instead of the old one?
- It is automatically switched when clicking the button
❓ Are multi-file VS Code solutions included?
- Yes. Multi-file VS Code and basic-IDE solutions are downloadable from the report.
❓ Does the API return the new report?
- Not yet. The API currently returns the old PDF. This is tracked in EVT-6279.
❓ Is it retroactive? So if I download a PDF report today for a session from last week, will it already be the new version?
- Yes, it renders it at the point when the button is clicked.
