If your assessment or interview requires the Codility App, you'll need to download and install it before you can begin. This article walks you through the steps.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
A computer running macOS or Windows (Linux is not supported). Permission to install applications on your computer A stable internet connection
If you're using a work or shared computer and don't have permission to install software, you may need to switch to a personal device or contact your IT team.
Step 1: Open your invitation link
Click the link in your invitation email. If the assessment or interview requires the Codility App, you'll see a page asking you to download it.
Step 2: Download the Codility App
On the download page, choose the version for your operating system:
- macOS
- Windows
The download is small and should only take a moment.
Step 3: Install and open the app
On macOS: Open the downloaded file and drag the Codility App into your Applications folder. Then open it from Applications.
On Windows: Open the downloaded file and follow the installation prompts. The app will open automatically once installed.
Step 4: Start your assessment or interview
Once the Codility App is open, sign in or enter your details as prompted. You'll see the same assessment or interview interface you'd see in a web browser. Complete your session as normal.
Troubleshooting
The app won't install. Check that you have permission to install applications on your computer. If you're on a work device, you may need help from your IT team.
My operating system isn't supported. The Codility App is available for macOS and Windows only. If you're using Linux or another operating system, please contact the company that invited you.
