What is AI Copilot?
The AI Copilot brings advanced AI capabilities directly into your interview. It offers:
- Intelligent Code Completion: Get smart suggestions as you code, helping you write efficient and accurate solutions faster.
- Chat-Based Assistance: Interact with the AI through a chat interface for guidance, explanations, and problem-solving support.
- Agent Mode: For more advanced interactions, the Agent Mode allows you to run sophisticated prompts and seamlessly integrate AI-generated code changes into your VS Code workspace.

Interviewer Experience
Interviewers have full visibility into how candidates utilize the AI Copilot. They can enable or disable the feature at any time during the session and see a read-only, real-time view of candidate prompts as they write them, and AI responses, ensuring transparency and control throughout the interview process.
Enabling AI Copilot
The AI Copilot options are available in your main account settings. Admins can enable or disable the VSCode AI Copilot for the entire account. There is also the option to enable it just for specific users by their ID.
The AI Copilot is currently in a beta preview for interested customers, bringing a new dimension to technical interviews by focusing on collaborative problem-solving and the assessment of AI-assisted development skills.
