Following the success of our Developer Thinking assessments, we’re releasing a set of Security Thinking tasks. These assessments target early-stage talent - folks who haven’t yet worked in security or/and coding but have the spark to succeed.
What Security Thinking measures
Trainability in cybersecurity concepts – how readily someone can pick up new technical knowledge from scratch
Problem sensitivity – an intuitive sense for spotting when something is (or could be) wrong
Logical reasoning – strength in both deductive and inductive thinking
Taken together*, these signals reveal people (inside or outside engineering), who have the motivation and cognitive foundations to grow into security-focused developer roles. The tasks are perfect for uncovering hidden talent and powering internal mobility or upskilling programs.
* - they are designed to be solved in sequence within one test, as they reuse concept introduced within them
