Welcome to the Codility's Skills Intelligence platform. This guide will help you navigate the initial setup and access process for your organization.
Getting Started
When you log in to your existing Codility account as an Administrator, you should see a new section called "Skills" in the main menu:
Adding Groups and Users
Groups are a way to split employees in organizational units for the assessment. They can represent internal company teams, geographies, or other concepts. Use them as you see fit.
- Click on My account at the bottom of the main menu panel. Then click on Settings.
- Go to Manage users tab and click on Employee Groups.
In this tab, you can add employees to your organization and assign them to their teams.
- Add the employees individually or upload a CSV file (first name, last name, email) to add the employees.
- Upon successful upload, Employees should appear in the Unassigned employees section.
- Once the Employees have been successfully uploaded, click on Create new group to define their Group name and Managers.
- We have introduced a new role: Team Manager. These users will also have access to Skills Intelligence in your organisation. They will be able to create assessments and view the performance of only their teams.
- You can assign the Manager role to the new employees in the user list. Click on the three-dot menu on the right of the user name and select "To Manager".
Important note: New users for Codility Skills Intelligence should not exist in the platform as Administrators or with any other roles (the email must be unique in the account). If you have someone who already uses the platform in another capacity, please use an email alias (e.g. name.surname+csi@domain.com) when adding for Skills Intelligence.
Creating Assessments
- From the main menu choose Assessment, then click Create new assessment button at in the top right corner.
- Provide values in the field for the Assessment name.
- Click on Participants to view Employees and see them assigned to specific teams.
- Select all the employees you want to send the assessment to.
- Select Skills from the Skill Selection Model next.
- Provide more information on the Task Selection Wizard (such as Assessment Frequency) before selecting Tasks from the Task Library.
- Configure additional details on the Settings page, such as Skill Validation score (which sets the minimum score the candidate needs to score on a task for a skill to be validated), AI assistance, Time limit, etc.
- Review all the details and click on Save to send the Assessments to your employees.
- The Assessment will appear on the Assessment dashboard upon creation, where you can see the rounds scheduled.
- Upon clicking on Assessments, you can add more rounds to an ongoing assessment. You can add more Participants or new tasks to a round that’s scheduled for the future. You cannot modify a round that’s already “In Progress”.
Employees Getting Notified
- Upon saving the Assessment in the above step, employees who were selected to take the test will get notified via an email, 10 minutes before the Scheduled Time of the assessment.
- Employees will be able to access the Assessment from the link provided in the invitation email.
- After finishing the assessment, employees can take a look at their results. They will also receive an email with a link to the results page.
Employee Insights
- Upon completion of the Assessments, you can then see the performance of your Employees in the “Employees” section of the main menu.
- You can see the list of all the employees and their teams there. Upon clicking on an Employee’s name, you can see this employees performance in their past assessments.
- Based on the past assessments and “Employee Score”, you can see which skills have been verified and which ones have been identified as Growth opportunities.
We are working on further enriching these views with more team-level and org-level insights that will be available soon.
