Codility partnered with CodeScene to bring next generation code analysis into your candidate reports, which can help you gauge the quality of the submitted code.
CodeHealth allows you to:
- Screen your candidates for quality. CodeHealth score allows you to see if your candidates can write maintainable code that will serve your organization long-term.
- Reduce the number of false negatives. In the more artificial, stressful and time-gated environment of online assessments, it is sometimes possible for a candidate to make a small mistake that will snowball into a significant change in score. Thanks to CodeHealth, you will still be able to determine if your low-scoring candidates were able to write a promising code, and give them another chance.
- Bring a brand new dimension of evaluation. CodeHealth score is independent of the existing correctness/performance scores. Therefore, it should be extremely helpful when trying to quickly understand which candidate is the best, even when task scores are similar.
If you hover over or click on the identified issue, a prompt with an explanation will appear:
Important points to consider when looking at the CodeHealth scores:
- Candidates scoring 0% will automatically receive 0 score from CodeHealth.
- The CodeHealth score is shown as a separate datapoint for each submitted solution, it doesn't impact the total score - the total score in the candidate report is still dependant on the number of test cases passed by each submitted solution.
- Only the code submitted as final is evaluated. CodeHealth score won’t be available for any intermediate snapshots that we store from the candidate’s session.
Please note that CodeHealth is currently in Beta release which is associated with certain restrictions. If you have questions about it or would like to join the Beta cohort, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support@codility.com.
